Education For All

"Education for All" is becoming a dream for Pakistani nation. Our education quality is not good. I am the student of MBA in Virtual University. I have freezed my education due to much cost and low quality of education. Is the MCQs system in education is acceptable for good education ? I have no answer to satisfied myself. I am not satisfied with this quality.
I belong from backword area of Punjab, Pakistan and got high school education from Govt School in 1998. I am satisfied with my study from that school. At that time only Govt school was held, there was no concept of private sector. Due to this education quality was satisfied but now a days private sector is rising up highly. Due to this sector, govt teachers are not paying full attention. Now a days there is no quality of education in Govt schools and colleges. Private sector has become the good source of income i.e. it has become the business. I think where is business there is no education. Govt has to think this issues seriously. If you have some ideas how to make this education sector better please pay your comments.

CONGRATULATION OF RAMDAN TO ALL MUSLIM NATION.
HAPPY RAMDAN.

Future of Egypt versus USA and Israel Policies

The last thing the U.S. policy elite wants is real democracy in Egypt. That country has been a linchpin of American foreign policy for more than 30 years precisely because its government has been able to defy the will of the Egyptian people. If that should change now, America’s rulers and their Israeli partners will be in panic mode, if they aren’t already.

This statement was given by Sheldon Richman on Feb 14, 2o11.  Sheldon Richman is vice president of The Future of Freedom Foundation and editor of FFF's monthly journal, Future of Freedom.

What you understand the roleplay of USA and Israel in Egypt?? Are they responcible the current situation of EGYPT??

Egypt unrest: 'We controlled the situation'

Hani Abdeltif, spokesman for the Egyptian interior ministry, has said that "our goal is the interest of Egypt" after the deaths of at least 51 people near a barracks in Cairo.

There were conflicting reports over what happened outside the barracks on Monday morning.

The Muslim Brotherhood, which supports ousted president Mohammed Morsi, put the number of dead at 53, and said children were among the victims.

They say protesters were fired on as they staged a sit-in for the ousted president, while the army said it had responded to an armed provocation.

Mr Abdeltif said there was an "exchange of fire" and described the incident as a "treacherous attack". The military has released footage which it claims shows pro-Morsi protesters shooting at soldiers stationed in front of the Republican Guard building. The images were slowed down and highlighted by the military, other footage shows people throwing missiles.

PTI v/s Other Political Parties

Once there was a time when only two political parties were controlling the Pakistan.Tthey can change the Pakistani Law as they desired. The people were helpless in their own country. In 40 years history it was observed that one party sat on government seat and other party sat on opposition benches. The opposition tried to stop the government to work and invited the dictatorship to control the future of Pakistan. In the meantime Pakistan Tehreek E Insaf appears in the Political field and became the popular in short time. It became the national party. I Love Pakistan. I Love PTI.

7 Most Colorful Beaches

Dan Breckwoldt / Shutterstock
There's really not much to complain about when you're at the beach: For many, sun, sand and surf provide the perfect antidote to the stress of everyday life. But some beaches up the ante by adding a bit of color — literally. From a Mediterranean shore with a vibrant orange hue to a California coastline strewn with multicolored sea glass, we've rounded up seven of the world's most colorful beaches. So grab your camera and visit one of these beautiful shorelines.

Red Beach

Santorini, Greece

Given the brick-colored cliffs surrounding it, it's not hard to see how Red Beach got its name. This rugged, wine-colored shoreline sits on the southern portion of Santorini's crescent moon shape. Its ruby cliffs overlook the sparkling blue Mediterranean and provide a protected strip for sunbathers. The russet-toned sand and cliffs on Red Beach are remnants of iron-rich lava rocks from a volcanic eruption that took place more than 3,000 years ago. (Be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen so you don't turn the same color.) Red Beach is less crowded than Santorini's popular black-sand beach, Kamari Beach, but it is harder to reach. If you don't mind scrambling over some rocks, you can take a 20 minute bus ride south to Red Beach from Fira.

Rainbow Beach

Australia

Rainbow Beach, located about 150 miles north of Brisbane on Australia's east coast, gets its name from the eroded sand cliffs that flank its shoreline. The cliffs, some of which rise more than 650 feet in the air, contain at least 72 different shades of sand, which overlap and intermix to resemble tie-dyed patterns. An Aboriginal legend attributes the cliffs' striations in color to a rainbow-hued spirit, who, in the midst of a tussle over a woman, plunged into the dunes and stained them with his many colors. Geology tells a more credible story of iron oxides and pigments from local plant life imbuing the cliff sands with their iridescent tints since the ice age. Whatever you believe, Rainbow Beach's cliffs are a stunning spectacle. Once you're done snapping photos of the multicolored sand cliffs (no touching allowed — they're delicate!), fish, backpack, camp, charter a yacht or just splash around in the azure waves. Rainbow Beach is best reached by car from Brisbane, and serves as a great jumping-off point for exploration of the nearby Fraser Island. (For more information about arranging activities on Rainbow Beach, visit the beach's website.)

Waianapanapa State Park

Maui, Hawaii

Sure, black isn't technically a color, but we just had to include the gorgeous black-sand beach at Waianapanapa State Park near Maui's easternmost point. Just more than 3 miles north of Hana along the Hana Highway, Waianapanapa is known for the smooth, onyx-colored pebbles that line its shores. The cooling volcanic lava — remnants of an eruption that took place hundreds of years ago — that formed arches, spires and blowholes that dot the coastline of the 120-acre state park. On days when the surf isn't too rough, you can swim, snorkel or dive in the crystalline waters. If it isn't prime swimming weather, you can explore the park, which includes the largest documented Hawaiian temple, as well as a network of natural caves and lava tubes.

Darnley Beach

Prince Edward Island, Canada

Because of its high levels of iron oxide, much of the sand on Prince Edward Island's shores is a rust color that clashes with the steely blue waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. But this island off of New Brunswick has one beach that outshines them all. Darnley Beach, located on Prince Edward Island's north-central coast, is home to stunning geological formations like natural arches and towers, and the famous Teapot Rock, all colored in the same brick red as the surrounding sand. There are a few ways to get to Prince Edward Island: You can hop in a car and drive north from Saint John, New Brunswick, almost 200 miles and across the Confederation Bridge. Or you can take the Northumberland Ferry from Caribou, Nova Scotia (only from May through mid-December). You can also fly in to Charlottetown Airport, which sits about 40 miles southeast of Darnley Beach.
[See: Most Relaxing Beaches]

Harbour Island

Bahamas

On Harbour Island, a small islet located in the eastern portion of the Bahamas, you'll find a luminous, 3.5-mile long pink-sand beach that draws tourists with its laid-back vibe. And because the beach is protected by a coral reef, the Atlantic waves break gently on its rosy-hued shores, making for calm swimming waters year-round. There are also plenty of snorkeling sites within reach of the blushing sand. If you'd like to stay close to the coral sands, be prepared to part with more than a few sand dollars. The upscale accommodations lining Harbour Island, like the Pink Sands Resort and the Dunmore Beach Club, will cost a pretty penny. The best way to get to Harbour Island is to fly from Nassau, Miami or Fort Lauderdale to the North Eleuthera Airstrip (on Eleuthera, the Bahamian island about 3 miles west of Harbour Island) from which you can take a taxi and a quick boat ride to the beaches.

Ramla Bay

Gozo, Malta

Off the northeastern coast of the isle of Malta sits Gozo, a smaller island famous for entrancing travelers with its many wonders. Its most well-known mythological maroon was Odysseus, who, in Homer's "The Odyssey," was entertained by the nymph Calypso in a cave on Gozo for seven years. Today, Gozo is renowned not for its legendary creatures, but for its tangerine-colored beach at Ramla Bay. The cool, blue Mediterranean Sea laps against the ochre-hued sand on Gozo's northern shore, creating a stunning juxtaposition in color. Despite the lure of its gorgeous sands, Ramla Bay is virtually undeveloped. There are a few summertime-only snack bars, so you might want to consider bringing your own food and water. The lack of surrounding development also means it's hard to access: A bus runs from Gozo's capital, Rabat, but only in the summer and it doesn't adhere to a set schedule. Your best bet for catching a glimpse of the orange sands is to walk 2 miles from Xaghra, the closest town, or to drive 4 miles north from the Malta-Gozo ferry dock at Mgarr.

Glass Beach

Fort Bragg, Calif.

It's hard to imagine that what is now a pristine coastline along California's Route 1 used to be a dumping ground for old glass and appliances in the early 20th century. Today, the beach sparkles with the remnants of old glass. Smoothed by decades of pounding surf, the sea glass that washes up on this strip of beach in Fort Bragg resembles shiny gemstones. There aren't any soft, sandy strips to lay down a towel, but beachcombers flock here to sift through the sand for forgotten treasures — or, in reality, discarded scraps of old glass. Visitors can also stop for a picnic here and admire northern California's churning breakers (it's too rough and cold for most swimmers). To get to Glass Beach, take Route 1 north about 170 miles from San Francisco, and turn west onto Elm Street to Glass Beach Drive in Fort Bragg, Calif.

What is the future of Edward Snowden ????

What is the future of Edward Snowden and what would be the future of Snowden????
Share your comments here!!!!!

Venezuela and Nicaragua make Snowden asylum 'offers'

The presidents of both Nicaragua and Venezuela have indicated their countries could offer political asylum to US fugitive Edward Snowden.

Venezuela's Nicolas Maduro said it would give asylum to the intelligence leaker, who is believed to be holed up in a transit area of Moscow airport.

Meanwhile Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega said his country would do so "if circumstances permit".

Wikileaks said Mr Snowden had applied to six additional countries on Friday.

The whistleblowing website said it would not name the countries "due to attempted US interference".

Mr Snowden has already asked 21 countries for asylum, most of whom have turned down his request.

President Maduro made his announcement in a speech on Venezuela's Independence Day.

"As head of state and government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela I have decided to offer humanitarian asylum to the young US citizen Edward Snowden so he can come to the fatherland of Bolivar and Chavez to live away from the imperial North American persecution," President Maduro said.

The US wants to prosecute Mr Snowden over the leaking of thousands of classified intelligence documents.
Speculation
Earlier Mr Ortega said Nicaragua had received an application at its embassy in Moscow.

"We are open, respectful of the right to asylum, and it is clear that if circumstances permit it, we would receive Snowden with pleasure and give him asylum here in Nicaragua," Agence France-Presse quoted the Nicaraguan president as saying.

Daniel Ortega was a fierce opponent of the US during his first period as Nicaragua's president in the 1980s, after the left-wing Sandinista movement came to power.

Bolivia, which had also suggested it might offer Mr Snowden asylum, saw its presidential plane barred from European airspace on Tuesday.

There was speculation the 30-year-old was on the plane carrying President Evo Morales back from Russia to La Paz earlier this week.

Daniel Ortega, file photo 14 June 2013 President Ortega said the asylum application was received in Moscow

"Edward Snowden has applied to another six countries for asylum," tweeted Wikileaks, which has been helping the former CIA contractor.

"They will not be named at this time due to attempted US interference."

The US has been blamed for being behind the decision by France, Portugal, Italy and Spain to close its airspace to Bolivia's president, whose plane was grounded in Austria for 13 hours as a result.

Earlier on Friday, Spain's foreign minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo admitted he and the other European countries had been told that Mr Snowden was on board - but refused to say who gave out the information.

He denied Spain had closed its airspace to the presidential plane, explaining that the delay in Austria meant the flight permit had expired and needed to be renewed.

His comment is the first official recognition by the European states that the incident with Mr Morales' plane was connected with the Snowden affair.

It has been widely condemned by President Morales and several other South American nations, who were critical of the US.

Mr Snowden arrived in the Moscow airport from Hong Kong last month.

He revealed himself to be responsible for the leaking of classified US intelligence documents that revealed a vast surveillance programme of phone and web data.

The documents have also led to allegations that both the UK and French intelligence agencies run similarly vast data collection operations, and the US has been eavesdropping on official EU communications.

Saudi Arabia extends grace period for illegal workers

KOCHI: Saudi Arabia on Tuesday extended its deadline for expatriate workers to get job visas regularized to stay on in the kingdom till November 4, 2013 as part of its drive (Nitaqat programme) to promote native employment. The deadline was to end on July 3.
Chief of Indian mission in Saudi Arabia Siby George told TOI that about 92,000 Indians had registered with the embassy to get emergency certificates. "Nearly 50% of them wanted to return to India and the remaining were trying to get their status regularized by getting visa and employment documents,'' George said.
R S Kannan, additional secretary, non-resident Keralite (NRK) affairs department, said that 5,167 Malayalis had registered with the Indian embassy in Saudi for emergency certificates from April 1, when the grace period began.
Minister of state for external affairs E Ahamed, who is on a visit to Beirut, told TOI that the Indian embassy in Saudi Arabia will work closely with the government there to help expatriates who do not have valid employment visas. Chief minister Oommen Chandy and minister for NRK affairs K C Joseph welcomed the Saudi gesture.
During the grace period, migrants can regularise their status by obtaining visa and travel documents from their employers or return to their home country. There will be no ban on re-entry if a migrant leaves Saudi during the grace period.

Pakistan can overcome energy crisis through Thar coal deposits: Mubarakmand

Islamabad

The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) organised a three-day symposium on ‘Innovations and Advances in Mineral Resource Exploration, Identification, Extraction, Processing and Sustainable Mining’ here on Monday.

Dr. Samar Mubarakmand, a renowned scientist, was the chief guest on the occasion.Speaking in the opening session, the keynote speaker, Dr. Samar Mubarakmand, highlighted the significance of the Thar coal deposits, Rekodiq and Saindak copper and gold deposits. He was of the view that the energy crisis prevalent in Pakistan could easily be overpowered through sensibly exploiting these reservoirs which may not only make Pakistan self-sufficient in their coal, copper and gold requirements rather it may soon evolve into an exporter of coal, copper and gold.

He said that Pakistan had a rich soil which may take Pakistan to heights of economic prosperity provided it has the sincere policy makers. He also apprised the audience about the performance of the scientists involved in laboriously working over the Thar Coal Project. Dr Samar Mubarakmand also presented a comparative analysis of the generation capacity of Pakistan and India.

Professor Frederick Cawood, head of the School of Mining Engineering University of Witwatersrand, South Africa presented the symposium address in which he briefly highlighted the mineral development in Pakistan. Speaking at a lighter note he correlated the cricketing and mining terms and presented an apt correlation between cricket, a very popular game amongst both the nations, and mining process which really fascinated everyone present in the symposium.

Professor Asghar Qadir, focal person from NUST briefed on the collaboration between University of Witwatersrand, South Africa and NUST while Engineer Sarfaraz Ali from NUST presented the symposium briefing highlighting its aims and objectives.

Speaking at the occasion, NUST Rector Engineer Muhammad Asghar, in his opening remarks, spoke on the steady growth of the higher education and likewise NUST. He said that Higher Education Commission had emerged to be a powerful institution within the last decade. Similarly National University of Sciences and Technology had also emerged to be a leading comprehensive university though it exclusively focused on sciences and technology in its earlier phases. He further said that mining had been a neglected area in Pakistan. Appreciating the efforts of all those who organized the symposium on mining, he said that it would definitely play a pivotal role in promoting mining as a discipline amongst students.

Engineer Muhammad Asghar extended his gratitude to all the academicians from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa for making the symposium a great success. He also thanked Dr Samar Mubarakmand for his esteemed presence and for his fruitful initiatives on the Thar coal project.

ENERGY CRISIS IN PAKISTAN

Self-sufficiency in energy is the assurance to excel any country’s economy. According to an international analysis, the oil and gas reserves will be finished into the second half of this current century. For that reason, to attain self-sufficiency, alternative energy resources are being explored. There are 929 billion tons approx. coal reserves available in the world whose 40% is used to produce the electricity. As per an estimation, third biggest coal reserve of 185 billion ton exists in Pakistan which is equivalent to 400 billion barrels of oil. In other words, our coal reserves are equivalent to Saudi Arab and Iran’s combined oil reserves.

As per research, $50 per barrel price gives the value of our coal reserve as high as $30 trillion which goes to 187 times high as compared to current GDP of Pakistan. Current government has taken appropriate actions to produce the electricity from Thar coal and other resources during the three to five coming years. Recently, Sindh Government has contracted with a multi-national firm and work has been started to produce the 1000 mega watt electricity from the coal.

These power generating projects will save huge foreign currency which is spent on the import of oil. The second largest oil producing country Iran too is producing electricity from coal. China, in this time is producing 75% electricity with coal and is ready to help us produce electricity with coal. The strong lobby of multi-national oil companies didn’t let the plans of generating the electricity from wind and coal come into being.

In world level, the share of electric produced by the gas is 19% while in Pakistan 45%, nuclear energy’s share in world total energy is 16% while in Pakistan only 2%, hydro-generated electricity’s share into the world’s total energy share is 16% but in Pakistan 3.3% and from oil in world only 7% but in Pakistan is 16%. Poland and Germany produce the electricity more than 80% from coal. Likewise, South Africa 93%, India 78.3%, Australia 77%, China 72%, Germany 52%, America 49%, Denmark 47.3% and UK 32.9% produce the energy from coal. Pakistan produces only 200 mega watt from coal which is 7% of total energy production while the energy produced by coal should be up to 25%.

An important and natural resource of alternative energy is wind. Minimum 13 kilometer per hour wind blowing is supposed to be sufficient. By luck, we have the points for the production of wind energy which is available into the coastal areas of Karachi, Thatta, Jiwani and Baluchistan’s coastal belt and other areas situated into northern areas and Azad Kashmir. This time from wind Germany 18000 mega watt, USA 7000 mega watt, and Spain 8000 mega watt are producing the energy.

Wind energy is of importance as it does not create any environmental pollution at all. Solar energy is one of the cheapest and important way to produce the energy. As per scientists, the energy received from the sun in one hour is more than the whole world’s total produced energy in a year. As per analysis if only half percent of desert land is used for solar energy it would cater the energy demand for this entire world. Pakistan has much potential for solar energy because Pakistan is receiving 19 mega joules per square meter in a year through which 90% of rural area can be provided the electricity.

Like wise, geysers run by solar energy can reduce the demand of natural gas in the northern areas. Nuclear energy is also a cheap resource to attain the electricity. We are producing only 462 mega watt electricity from nuclear resources which is only 2% of our energy production by alternative resources. In the contrary, in the world 16% electricity is being produced by nuclear energy. Our natural gas reserves are finishing rapidly so therefore, it is necessary that electricity be produced by alternative resources and dependency over the natural gas could be lessened. If just 50% of alternative resources available in Pakistan is used so we can export the additional energy to neighbor states. No doubt self-sufficiency in energy is the first key in attaining the country-wide economical and social development.

Where is our Govenment, why they are not serius to solve the energycrise.

Doug Engelbart, inventor of computer mouse, dies at 88

Doug Engelbart in 1997. The inventor of the computer mouse – who said his work was all about 'augmenting human intellect' – has died. Photograph: Michael Schmelling/AP
Doug Engelbart, a visionary who invented the computer mouse and developed other technology that has transformed the way people work, play and communicate, has died. He was 88.
The Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California, where Engelbart had been a fellow since 2005, said on Wednesday that it was notified of the death in an email from his daughter and biographer, Christina.
Back in the 1950s and 60s, when mainframes took up entire rooms and were fed data on punch cards, Engelbart already was envisioning a day when computers would empower people to share ideas and solve problems in ways that seemed unfathomable at the time.
He said his work was all about "augmenting human intellect" – a mission that boiled down to making computers more intuitive to use. One of the biggest advances was the mouse, which he developed in the 1960s and patented in 1970. At the time, it was a wooden shell covering two metal wheels: an "X-Y position indicator for a display system."
Engelbart "brought tremendous value to society", said Curtis R Carlson, the CEO of SRI International. "We will miss his genius, warmth and charm. Doug's legacy is immense. Anyone in the world who uses a mouse or enjoys the productive benefits of a personal computer is indebted to him."
The notion of operating the inside of a computer with a tool on the outside was way ahead of its time when Engelbart began working on it. The mouse did not become commercially available until 1984, with the release of Apple's then-revolutionary Macintosh, a precursor to future breakthroughs such as the iPhone and iPad.
Engelbart conceived the computer mouse so early in the evolution of computers that he and his colleagues didn't profit much from it. The mouse patent had a 17-year life span, allowing the technology to pass into the public domain in 1987. That prevented Engelbart from collecting royalties on the mouse when it was in its widest use. At least a billion have been sold since the mid-1980s.
Although computer mice remain prevalent, their usage is waning as people increasingly control smartphones and tablets in an even simpler way: by swiping their finger across a display screen.
Among Engelbart's other key developments in computing, along with his colleagues at the Stanford Research Institute and his own lab, the Augmentation Research Centre, was the use of multiple windows. Engelbart's lab also helped develop ARPANet, the government research network that led to the internet.
In a precursor to the dramatic presentations that Apple founder Steve Jobs became famous for, Engelbart dazzled the industry at a San Francisco computer conference in 1968. Working from his house with a homemade modem, he used his lab's elaborate new online system to illustrate his ideas to the audience, while his staff linked in from the lab. It was the first public demonstration of the mouse and video teleconferencing, and it prompted a standing ovation.
"Doug pioneered network computing technologies when it was not popular to do so," Sun Microsystems' then-CEO, Scott McNealy, said in 1997.
Even so, the mild-mannered Engelbart gave deference to his colleagues and played down the importance of his inventions, stressing instead his bigger vision of using collaboration over computers to solve the world's problems.
"Many of those firsts came right out of the staff's innovations – even had to be explained to me before I could understand them," he said in a biography written by his daughter. "They deserve more recognition."
In 1997, Engelbart won the most lucrative award for American inventors, the $500,000 Lemelson-MIT prize. Three years later, President Bill Clinton bestowed Engelbart with the National Medal of Technology "for creating the foundations of personal computing".
Douglas Carl Engelbart was born 30 January 1925 and grew up on a small farm near Portland, Oregon. He studied electrical engineering at Oregon State University, taking two years off during the second world war to serve as a Navy electronics and radar technician in the Philippines.
It was there that he read Vannevar Bush's As We May Think in a Red Cross library and was inspired by Bush's idea of a machine that would aid human cognition.
After the war, Engelbart worked as an electrical engineer for Nasa's predecessor, NACA, at its Ames Laboratory. Restless, and dreaming of computers that could change the world, Engelbart left Ames to pursue his PhD at University of California, Berkeley.
He earned his degree in 1955. But after joining the faculty, Engelbart was warned by a colleague that if he kept talking about his "wild ideas" he would be an acting assistant professor forever. So he left for the research position at Stanford Research Institute, now SRI International.
In 1990, Engelbart started the Bootstrap Institute, which researches ways to advance collaboration on complex problems.

Egypt's Morsi says he won't step down

His fate hanging in the balance, embattled President Mohammed Morsi vowed not to resign Tuesday, hours before a deadline to yield to the demands of millions of protesters or see the military suspend the constitution, disband parliament and install a new leadership.
The Islamist leader demanded that the powerful armed forces withdraw their ultimatum, saying he rejected all "dictates" — from home or abroad. Outside on the streets, the sense that both sides are ready to fight to the end sharpened, with clashes between his supporters and opponents that left at least 23 dead, most of them in a single incident of fighting outside Cairo University.
In an emotional speech aired live to the nation, Morsi, who a year ago was inaugurated as Egypt's first freely elected president, pledged to protect his "constitutional legitimacy" with his life. He accused loyalists of his ousted autocratic predecessor Hosni Mubarak of exploiting the wave of protests to topple his regime and thwart democracy.

US drone targets Haqqani network in N. Waziristan; kills 17

MIRAMSHAH: At least 17 people were killed and two others injured in a US drone attack which targeted a house in the North Waziristan tribal region late on Tuesday night.

Sources told Dawn.com that the drone fired four missiles on the house near Miramshah bazaar in Sirai Darpakhel area, targeting the Haqqani residential compound and a car. The head commander Haji Shahrifullah of Haqqani, a militant network, is said to be safe, whereas 17 people were killed and two others injured in the attack.
Intelligence sources confirmed the death toll.
US officials consider the Haqqani network to be one of the most dangerous militant factions fighting American troops in Afghanistan.
The leadership of the Haqqani network pledges allegiance to Afghan Taliban chief Mullah Omar but operates fairly independently.
The drone attack was the biggest launched this year and the second since Nawaz Sharif took office as prime minister following his victory in the May 11 elections.
Nawaz has called for an immediate end to US drone strikes on the grounds they breach of Pakistan's sovereignty.

Altaf Hussain voluntarily steps down as MQM leader after London raids

LONDON: Deeming a recent police raid on his apartment as a disgrace to his reputation, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader, Altaf Hussain, has announced to voluntarily relinquish the party leadership henceforth, Geo News reported.
"Metropolitan Police raided my house and took away many things. When the home of a person, who also happens to be the political leader of millions, is subjected to such an investigatory action, then it becomes imperative for him to step down on moral grounds", said he talking exclusively to Geo News.
Altaf Hussain's statement comes at a time when British Prime Minister, David Cameron, is vising Pakistan. Cameron called on President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday and will hold a meeting with Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif today (Sunday).
He said he was renouncing the leadership of his party since New Scotland Yard ransacked his house in North West London and seized many items/documents in connection with Dr Imran Farooq murder case investigation. He said whatever happened called into question the name of the leader of his stature.
"I am abdicating my responsibility as the Quaid-e-Tehreek. I am transferring my powers to MQM Coordination Committee", said he.
He said that if a court of law took up Dr Imran Farooq murder case then he would not engage any lawyer, solicitor, or barrister, rather he would fight his case himself.
"I would plead my case personally and embrace the ruling of the honourable court openheartedly regardless of which way it goes", he added.
Vowing to continue his Haqparastana (righteous) struggle Altaf advised his followers to stay committed no matter what happened.
"Hold your heads high and repose your full trust in the party leadership", said Altaf Hussain.
Following their party leader's announcement, throngs of shocked party workers, supporters, sympathizers showed up at the MQM Headquarter 'Nine Zero' in Karachi and other parts of the country.
According to sources, at the moment, the workers are chanting slogans to express their solidarity as well as allegiance to Altaf Hussain's leadership demanding him to withdraw his decision.
The sources added that the MQM Coordination Committee London and Karachi chapters are constantly in touch since his announcement, however an official statement regarding Altaf Hussain’s decision was yet to be issued.
More than a week ago, Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorism Command Unit searched two North West London "residential addresses" for 55 hours with one of them belonging to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief, Altaf Hussain.
The New Scotland Yard, which raided the houses, rooted both the apartments during the painstaking search and confiscated many important documents.
According to sources, Altaf Hussain is the proprietor of one of the two houses, however the details of the ownership of the other apartment are yet unknown.
Dr Farooq, the former convener of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was stabbed to death outside his home on 16th September 2010 as he was returning home.
The UK police is investing the murder of Dr Farooq case on several lines, including one strong line of investigation that Dr Farooq was in discussions with his colleagues and members of the public to start his own independent political career.
These searches were carried out under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE).
Subsequently London police arrested a British man of Pakistani origin questioned him for 34 hours before he was released on bail.

Pakistani People hijacked by 01% people

99.99%People of Pakistan have been hijacked by 01% people. Mijority of the people have become helpless and cann't understand what to do. What is the main reason of hijacking, no one is serious to rectify and hilighted. I have some ideas to protect the people from the minority i.e. hijacker.
1. We are producing these 01% people by ownself by Lack of Justice. I cannot see the justice in this country. Law and Order are prepared as per Shariat and as per country requirement but there is no one who can follow. It becomes the part of paper. If we starting to provide the rights to the people we can control these hijackers.
2. We have to recognise the anti Pakistan People.
3. Our leader failed to understand the differences between friends and animy.
4. Our media is also not playing the right role to control the situation.
5 .Lack of Education
6. Difference between poor and rich
7. Cruption
8. Lack of the Knowledge of Islam,
If we will control these issues we will be the top of good countries.

Strange but True: Black Holes Sing

Although sound cannot be heard in space, it can sometimes be seen in the dark heart of the Perseus galaxy cluster, 300 million light-years from Earth, a supermassive black hole has been singing the same note for 2.5 billion years. Its tone registers 57 octaves below middle C and, according to scientists at NASA's Chandra X-Ray Center, is a resounding B-flat. Yet, how is this possible in the vacuum of space?
Sound requires a medium, such as water or air, to travel. Here on Earth a sound wave moves from its origin by causing the surrounding air molecules to vibrate. The vibrations pass from one molecule to another; when they hit an ear, they are understood as noise. But because neither air nor water nor much of anything else exists in the majority of vast reaches of space, it is difficult for sound to travel there.
It takes a supermassive black hole—like a robust opera diva—to sing a resonant note in space. These monstrous celestial objects range from hundreds of thousands to tens of billions times our sun's mass and are commonly found in the center of active galaxies. For example, Sagittarius A*—a supermassive black hole—sits at the center of our own galaxy, the Milky Way.
Black holes are notorious for their gravitational might, which is so strong that nothing can escape, according to conventional wisdom. But this isn't quite correct—some matter does. A black hole's gravity pulls a mishmash of matter and energy into its surrounding accretion disk—a ringlike structure formed by gas and dust. But some of this matter is violently expelled from the black hole's poles as "relativistic jets." These jets surge into the scorching gas surrounding the hole and generate pockets in the otherwise uniform cloud.
"Sound waves are pressure waves. And black holes, or at least their relativistic jets, can generate enormous sound waves, which then propagate through surrounding galactic gas," explains astronomer Steven Allen, a professor of physics at Stanford University who studies the Perseus galaxy cluster. "When relativistic jets, which contain material moving at close to the speed of light, slam into the hot gas that pervades giant elliptical galaxies and clusters of galaxies, they beat a 'galactic drum,' as it were." The jet acts as the "stick," whereas the surface of the gas is the "drum."
Although people can't hear these waves (because sound can't travel through the vast vacuum separating this "drum" and us), we can "see" them using x-ray observations. As sound waves spread through the scorching gas in galaxies and galaxy clusters, regions of greater pressure (sound wave peaks) tend to appear brighter in x-rays; fainter regions (troughs) are dimmer.
Chandra x-ray telescope observations of the Perseus Cluster show roughly concentric ripples of brighter and fainter gas, which indicate sound waves. "We can't see the waves moving," Allen says. "The relevant timescales are too long, since the period of the waves is about 10 million years—but we have a clear 'snapshot' of them."
Perseus' black hole is not the universe's sole galactic vocalist. M87, a galaxy that holds one of the universe's most massive black holes, is also known to croon. Although its song isn't as steady as Perseus', it is more involved, with notes as deep as 59 octaves below middle C.
"There's no reason for black holes to sing the same note," says Peter Edmonds, an astrophysicist at the Chandra X-Ray Center. Galaxies that have more matter may provide a deeper sound, because this matter could lead to bigger, but less common eruptions from the black hole. There are bound to be other important factors contributing to a black hole's specific sound, such as the temperature of the gas and its location, but the details aren't well understood, says Edmonds.
Other interstellar objects and events produce sound waves as well, he adds. In fact, the echoes of the big bang have been humming and hissing since shortly after the universe's birth

Those killed also include two women while women and children are also among the injured, twenty of whom are said to be in critical condition.

World has become Globel Village

The World Has Become Global Village Because of It Revolution
The advancement in technology has certainly had a major effect on the lives of many. This world is becoming a global village and distances no longer a problem. Communications and mass information is just a few clicks away; thanks to the computer related technology, more specifically the utility of internet, which is a part of the information technology.
Today, the term "Global Village" is mostly used as a   metaphor to describe the Internet and World Wide Web. On the Internet, physical distance is even less of a hindrance to the real-time communicative activities of people, and therefore social spheres are greatly expanded by the openness of the web.
